LARRY JOE WHEELON’S ATTORNEY TRIES TO SUPPRESS EVIDENCE OBTAINED IN BARN RAID

MARYVILLE, TN – Larry Joe Wheelon is hanging his hopes on not being prosecuted on felony charge violating Tennessee “Aggravated Cruelty to Livestock” on his attorney’s Motion To Suppress Evidence seized in the April 18, 2013, raid on his barn. A Search Warrant was obtained by Special Agent Judy McMillian, Office of Inspector General of USDA on April 17, 2013. Wheelon’s barn was raided the next day. On April 25, 2013, 19 horses were seized and removed from Wheelon’s facility.

In his Motion attorney Robert White is saying the McMillian did not have “probable cause” of a crime being committed to justify the April 17, 2013 Search Warrant being issued.
